What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes the community's farm with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risk and benefits of food production. You will receive a weekly box of ultra fresh, nutrient dense, chemical free produce every week during the season (20 weeks).

What can you expect?

We love heirloom varieties, sweet and spicy peppers, the gamut of greens, and hearty storage crops, so you can expect a wide array of colors and flavors.

Large shares can expect about 10 different items per week, Small shares can expect about 6+ items per week. These items will all be a reasonable quantity (i.e. we will not give you a handful of greens or 6 pounds of beets).

Is a CSA right for me?

We want this to be as good of a fit for you as it is for us- a beneficial relationship!
  1. Do you enjoy cooking?
  2. Are you flexible or interested in more creativity in the kitchen?
  3. Do you want to eat more seasonably?
  4. Do you want to eat more vegetables, especially organic vegetables?
  5. Are you available to pick up produce weekly?
  6. Are you interested in learning about new vegetables and varieties?
Did you answer yes to the majority of the questions? Then a CSA may be a great choice for you and your family. So what next?
