We are so excited to host some of our favorite musicians and people at the farm for an evening of incredible music. Farmstead Concerts are held out in the field, with the band playing on our flatbed trailer and the audience lazing or dancing in the grass. Please feel free to bring a picnic (unfortunately, we will not have a food truck this year), bring chairs and blankets, and come enjoy a lovely autumn evening on the farm. Feel free to take a self-guided tour, sample the raspberries, and smell the flowers.

About - Skillethead Setting roots in the high and dry Central Oregon desert, Skillethead calls forth the best of bluegrass old and new. They ground themselves firmly in the bluegrass traditions of driving fiddle tunes, layered harmonies, and single mics, all the while weaving in inspiration and originality gleaned from genres far and wide. You can expect to hear a Stanley Brothers number right alongside a stirring original or a rollicking rock cover done in Skillethead's own unique fashion. The spectrum reaches far and wide, the bluegrass universe is expanding, and Skillethead is on that ride! The brainchild of late-night jams and carrot picking daydreams, Skillethead was christened in the spring of 2019 by friends and longtime musical revelers Joe Schulte, Benji Nagel, and Garrett Miller. "I do believe we should start a band" someone said, and thus it was so. With the additions of bass/vocal powerhouse Aaron Moore and fiddle maestro Casey Willis, Skillethead is now a bona fide tour-de-force bluegrass machine. |
PARKING- Please only park on the North side of the road. Parking on both sides of the road makes it too narrow to travel safely through. Please obey the signs and don't make us put you in time-out for not following directions :)
